Fourteen firms that take a Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor or Bubble prototype into something a business can run on. Published prices for the rebuild itself run from about $10,000 to $100,000, and only four of the fourteen publish one at all. Three of them will not write any code for you, and that is on purpose.

Disclosure. Caemcore published this list and put itself in it. The criteria are the same for every entry: what the company actually does, what it publishes about price and timeline, where it works from, and how you start. The order groups companies by approach. It is not a ranking, and we are not first.

TL; DR

  • Four of the fourteen publish a price for the rebuild itself. The rest quote after a call.
  • Published rebuild prices run from around $10k for a small codebase to $100k for complex SaaS.
  • Most of this market sells fixing in place, not rebuilding. That is often the correct answer.
  • Three of the fourteen will not touch your code at all. They write a report and hand it over.
  • Almost every entry offers a free or cheap first step. Use two of them before you sign anything.

What does rebuilding a prototype actually mean?

Three different services get sold under the same words, and the price difference between them is ten times.

Audit only. Someone reads the code and gives you a report. Severity ratings, file paths, a fix list, sometimes a verdict on whether to keep the codebase. No code gets written. Turnaround is days, price is free to about $3,000.

Fix in place. The existing codebase stays. Auth gets replaced with something real, the database gets constraints, tests go around the parts that touch money. The app keeps running while this happens. This is what most of this market sells.

Rebuild. The structure underneath gets replaced. The screens, flows and data model the prototype proved usually survive. What goes is the architecture that made every change break something else. This costs the most and takes the longest.

The three are not competing answers to the same question. They are answers to different questions, and you cannot tell which one you are asking without someone reading your code first.

Does your prototype actually need a rebuild?

Probably not on the first problem you hit, and a serious chunk of this market will tell you the same thing.

Clover Labs says the instinct to bin an AI-built app and start over is the expensive answer and throws away a product that already works. Sytepoint writes that a full rewrite is the conclusion only when the evidence supports it, and breaks the call down per area instead of per app. Sparkling Neuronics Labs built its whole practice on not having an implementation team, so there is no incentive to recommend a rebuild.

They are right often enough that you should assume they are right about you until proven otherwise.

The distinction that matters is how the breakage is distributed. Environment variables in the wrong place, a hardcoded URL, a Stripe webhook that was never verified. These are hours. AxonBuild's price survey, which read published vendor pages on 15 August 2026, found InApps Technology printing $3,000 to $15,000 over two to six weeks to fix in place against $20,000 to $60,000 over eight to sixteen weeks to rebuild. That gap is the whole decision.

The symptom that actually predicts a rebuild is not a bug. It is that shipping the next feature costs more attempts than the feature is worth. One change breaks two other things. The AI rewrites code that was fine. Nothing underneath was designed, so there is nothing to build the next thing on.

Which companies rebuild prototypes from scratch?

These five will replace the structure, and four of them publish something you can budget against.

Justin McKelvey (Vibe Code Rescue), Austin, USA. A solo fractional CTO running a productized four to eight week rebuild. Publishes the full band: lighter scopes from $15k, typical engagements $25k to $50k, complex SaaS with deep integrations $60k to $100k. Free 20-minute repo audit delivered as a recorded walkthrough, no strings. One published case study at $40k over six weeks. Optional retainer after launch at $1,500 to $3,000 a month. The most transparent pricing page in this list.

Rocking Tech, London, UK. Runs a three-step ladder. Free 30-minute code health assessment, then a fixed-price three week discovery sprint that produces a 15 to 20 page scorecard and a roadmap, then an optional rebuild on Laravel and React across eight to sixteen weeks. The sprint fee is credited against the build, so you can pay for the diagnosis and walk away without losing it. Listed with a £4,500 project minimum on the vibecoding.app directory.

Sytepoint, Phoenix and Los Angeles, USA. Audit first, always. A fixed-fee production readiness audit takes about two weeks and returns a keep, refactor, replace or rebuild call for each area of the app, with an estimate attached to every finding so the report doubles as a budget. Ground-up rebuilds run as twelve week build sprints from $45k. Their own work is multi-tenant operations software, which is the relevant experience for this.

Caemcore, Warsaw, Poland. That is us. Prototype rebuild runs $10k to $30k over four to sixteen weeks, with the range and the date named before development starts. The first step is a free 30-minute codebase audit: what we keep, what we rebuild, what blocks launch, the range and the timeline. Our published proof on this specific work is one prototype rewritten into a platform that went on to process $18k. Payment runs in 40/30/30 milestones and there is a working demo every Thursday.

Intertec.io, Munich, Germany. An official production partner for Lovable projects, which nobody else here is. Focus is infrastructure, AWS and Azure architecture, auto-scaling and database work for apps that outgrew the builder's own hosting, plus GDPR and SOC2 readiness. Listed from $5,000 on the vibecoding.app directory. The obvious first call if you built on Lovable and the problem is scale rather than structure.

Which companies fix the existing codebase and take it over?

These five keep your repo and work inside it. None of them publishes a price.

Pragmatic Coders, Krakow, Poland. A named rescue service line for AI-built apps that got traction. Code and performance optimisation, security hardening, QA, UX. Starts with a free consultation and a code assessment scaled to the size of the codebase. Ten-plus year track record, delivery across Europe and the US.

Railsware, Krakow, Poland. Two decades old, built Calendly and Mailtrap among others. Their AI-code service runs as an audit and discovery phase, then refactor and modernisation: architecture, cleanup, performance, test coverage. Offices in Krakow, Dubai, Kyiv and Pasadena. The pick if you want a product studio rather than a repair shop.

Redwerk, Kyiv, Ukraine. Ninety-plus senior engineers, founded 2005. Codebase assessment and refactoring, security patching, CI/CD, optional ongoing maintenance. Small projects run one to two weeks for the initial assessment and the critical refactoring. Publishes maintainability improvement figures on past engagements.

Scorchsoft, Birmingham, UK. Sells project rescue explicitly as an alternative to starting from scratch, and has stabilised work from Replit, Copilot, Bubble and Glide as well as the newer tools. Sixteen-plus years old. Estimates typically start one to two weeks after intake, depending on availability.

ISHIR, Dallas, USA. Founded 1999, delivery from the US, India, LATAM and Eastern Europe with wide time zone coverage. Runs a cleanup service covering code quality assessment, refactoring, documentation, testing and CI/CD hardening. Timelines run from a few weeks on early prototypes to several sprints on larger applications. The offshore-scale option in this list.

Which companies only audit and refuse to build?

Three firms here will read your code and stop there. This is a feature.

Beesoul, Richmond, USA. Free manual security review of AI-generated codebases, delivered in two to three business days and up to five for projects over 10,000 lines. The report covers 18 categories with file paths, line numbers, severity and a fix recommendation per finding. No card required. They publish their own data: 10.3% of the Lovable apps they audited had critical row-level security holes, and a typical vibe-coded MVP comes back with 8 to 14 findings. Remediation is quoted separately.

Axionic, Atlanta, USA. A readiness review quoted at $3,000 with a seven-day turnaround, spun out of an eighteen-year-old software shop by architects with due-diligence experience. Output is a severity-ranked report on a five-level rubric, a one-page business summary, a findings register with evidence pointers, and a remediation package written so a coding agent can act on it directly.

Sparkling Neuronics Labs, Bulgaria. Architecture only. No implementation team, no remediation upsell. Engagements produce boundary maps, target-state architecture, confidence-banded cost and risk models, and a five-outcome verdict: ship, patch, refactor, rewrite or retire. Worth paying for precisely because the firm has nothing to sell you afterwards.

Varyence, New York, USA. Sits between audit and remediation with a security assessment aimed at founders shipping AI-built apps. Architecture and source review, vulnerability scanning, auth and access review, load testing, plus a remediation plan. Three to ten business days depending on size. Delivery from Ukraine, the EU and the US.

What does a prototype rebuild cost in 2026?

Four numbers are worth carrying into any call.

A September 2026 survey by Devox of published vendor prices puts a small codebase at roughly $1,500 to $4,000, a medium one at $4,000 to $11,000, and a large one at $11,000 to $28,000 and above. Afterbuild Labs publishes its own engagement bands: around $2,000 for a single integration fix, $7,500 to $15,000 for a full production pass, and $25,000 and up for migrating off a platform entirely. The fixed-format end of the market sits higher, at $25k to $50k for four to eight weeks. And the top of the published range, for complex SaaS with real integrations and a live customer base, is $60k to $100k.

The wide spread is not vendors disagreeing. It is four different jobs sharing one name.

All figures read on 11 September 2026. Two entries are marked as directory listings because the number appears on the vibecoding.app profile rather than on the company's own pricing page.

How do you choose between them?

Run two free first steps before you pay anyone, and pick companies with different incentives.

Take one from the audit-only group and one from the group that would do the rebuild. If both say the same thing about your codebase, you have an answer. If they disagree, the disagreement itself tells you where the uncertainty is, and that is worth more than either report alone.

Then check four things on the call. Whether you get a written scope with a price and a date on it. What happens if the diagnosis comes back small, and whether they will say so. Who is actually writing the code, in which country, at what seniority. And what you own at the end, meaning the repository, the infrastructure accounts and the domain.

One note on the last point. Everything in this list is a service, and the thing you are buying is the ability to keep changing your product after they leave. A rebuild that ships and leaves you unable to touch it has solved nothing.

Where this list will not help you

This is a list of companies that work on shipped prototypes. It is the wrong list for several real situations.

If you have not launched yet, none of this applies. You need a build, and a build is a different conversation with a different price.

If your budget is under about $3,000, the only entries that fit are the audits. That is not a bad outcome. A report plus your own hands on the code is a legitimate path, and several of these firms hand over findings written to be actioned by someone else.

If your codebase was written by humans and you just need more hands, this is a hiring problem wearing a rebuild costume. The firms here are priced for structural work.

And if one specific thing is broken, a payment webhook or a login flow, pay a freelancer for a day. Do not buy a rebuild for a problem that fits in an afternoon.

FAQ

What is the difference between a prototype rebuild and a code rescue?

A rescue keeps the existing codebase and repairs the parts that are broken. A rebuild replaces the structure underneath and keeps the product behaviour the prototype proved. Rescue is cheaper and faster. Rebuild is what you do when the structure itself is the thing blocking every new feature.

How much does it cost to rebuild an AI-built prototype in 2026?

Published vendor prices run from roughly $1,500 to $4,000 for a small codebase up to $11,000 to $28,000 and above for a large one, per a September 2026 survey by Devox. The fixed-format end of the market sits higher. Justin McKelvey publishes $25k to $50k for a four to eight week rebuild, and Sytepoint publishes a $45k floor for a twelve week build sprint.

Does my prototype actually need a rebuild?

Usually not on the first problem you hit. Environment variables, hardcoded URLs and a single broken integration are hours of work. Missing structure is weeks. A paid or free audit is the only way to tell them apart, and several firms on this list will tell you your problem is the small one.

How long does a rebuild take?

Published timelines cluster between four and sixteen weeks. Four to eight weeks is common for a single-purpose app. Twelve to sixteen weeks shows up where there are real integrations, existing customers and data to migrate.

Will I lose the work the AI already did?

Not the product decisions. The screens, flows, copy and data model you validated are the valuable part and most firms keep them. What gets replaced is auth, the data layer, deployment and anything that has to be correct under load.

Should I hire a company in my own country?

Only if you need onsite work or have a procurement rule about it. Every firm on this list works remotely. Time zone overlap matters more than the flag. Four hours of overlap is enough for weekly demos and daily messages.

What should I ask before signing?

Ask for a written scope with a price and a date on it. Ask what happens if the audit finds the problem is small. Ask who is actually writing the code. Ask what you own at the end. A firm that cannot answer the last one in a sentence is the wrong firm.
